The month of November can be a stressful time for many students at Loomis Chaffee; finals are just around the corner, and tests abound. However, it is just as important to take a step back and enjoy your free time, and what better way to relax than to partake in some writing? November is Academic Writing Month (AcWriMo), an event established by Charlotte Frost challenging writers to surpass a self-set writing goal during November. This event is based on the National Novel Writing Month (known as NaNoWriMo, also in November) initiated by Chris Baty. Although you do not have to participate in these web-based competitions, you can use their example as inspiration to have a thoughtful, imaginative November!
