Celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr.

In his 1967 speech, “Where Do We Go From Here,” Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “I have decided to stick with love …  hate is too great a burden to bear.” Martin Luther King, Jr.’s plea for equal rights, racial unity, and social justice through love, understanding, and peaceful means continues to resonate today. With Martin Luther King, Jr. Day approaching, the Katharine Brush Library has put together a book display on the second floor of the library that pays tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Civil Rights Movement. If you have a few minutes sometime this month, be sure to stop by the library and check it out!
