Review: Crooked Heart

Crooked Heart
Crooked Heart by Lissa Evans
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is gorgeous historical fiction. Wonderful, quirky characters who could be unlikeable but are most definitely not and a delightful plot set against the background of the evacuation of children from London during World War II. In turns humorous, tragic, moving, and endearing, this one makes me want to thrust it into people’s hands and say, “Here, read this. It’s wonderful.”
