Review: A Pale View of Hills

A Pale View of Hills
A Pale View of Hills by Kazuo Ishiguro
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I had never read this first novel of Ishiguro’s so I was interested to see what it was like. Much of it is suggestive, but little is concrete. Three pairs of mothers and daughters are contrasted, but perhaps one pair is actually one of the others later in life? I liked it, but was left a little confused. The ending could be interpreted in multiple ways.
